Delaine Hunter
With a clear vision to improve healthcare in North Georgia, DeLaine works tirelessly to advance the mission of the North Georgia Healthcare Center. As its President and CEO, DeLaine’s extensive history in the medical field is impressive. Years as President and owner of Occufit, Inc., an on-site medical testing business, DeLaine is able to multi-task, train, and lead all members of the Center’s staff. She holds certifications in Occupational Hearing, Pulmonary Function testing, Breath Alcohol, Phlebotomy, MROA, Respirator Clearance, and an Associate’s Degree in Pharmacology. Educated at Marshall University, DeLaine is clear in her expectations of faith and family first while providing consistent quality care to the deserving residents of the North Georgia community.
Dr. Smith
Educated at the University of Georgia, the Medical College of Georgia, and Floyd Medical Center, Dr. Smith brings more than 35 years of medicine to the North Georgia Healthcare Center. Holding his medical license in the State of Georgia, Dr. Smith is also a proud member of the American Medical Association, Coosa Clinics Society of Rome, Georgia, Georgia Medical Association, and Chattooga Polk Medical Association. Dr. Smith also has continuing education in the treatment of the terminally ill, Alzheimer’s, HIV/AIDS, alcohol use and abuse, eating disorders, Osteoporosis, and medical ethics. Dr. Smith is a valued member of the NGHCC and prides himself on building healthy relationships with the Center’s patients.
